To be able to use the headlock, the RapidGrip 14″ pliers must be clamped with the thin adapter. Then hook the pliers jaw holder onto the opening hook of the Ridgid pliers and secure with the safety clamp. To clamp the part to be machined, open the pliers with the headlock now attached and place the part to be clamped in the pliers. Tips: For best clamping results, place the part in the Ridgid pliers so that it is exactly in the centre of the ‘V’ formed by the jaws of the pliers. For scratchable parts (e.g. fittings), use the special protective rubber on the jaws of the pliers. For even more stability, we recommend additional fastening with a screw clamp. (not included in the scope of delivery)
